摘要：

In recent years, corpus-based techniques have been introduced to computer-aided English teaching to investigate how speakers and writers exploit the resources of their language. When applied to English vocabulary teaching, corpus-based techniques have unique advantages. Rather than looking at what is theoretically possible in a language, researchers study the actual language used in naturally occurring texts. This paper uses Sketch Engine as research tool, and British National Corpus(BNC, hereafter) to explore vocabulary teaching of collocations and synonyms.
