摘要
Using a practical case of DaimlerChrysler AG, the automated feedback of simulation results into the development process is demonstrated. The goal of this contribution is to provide methods to decrease the development cost, shorten the development time, improve the accuracy and the degree of maturity. The work is concentrated on the feedback of the geometrical information after the manufacturing simulation into the nominal design geometry. The approach is investigated using virtual manufacturing tools, based on triangle meshes, and verified with physical processes. This research topic is partly integrated into the EU-project "IMS-RPD-2001".
