摘要
From the studies made, it can be concluded that: - Global migration values obey the laws of diffusion. - The calculated and observed Em are in close agreement with each other for all sets of experiments. - The proportionality relationship between root t and the migrant amount is valid upto an extraction of 60-70% of Em. - The migrant amount is exponentially related to the temperature. - Theta the time at which Em is reached decreased exponentially with temperature. - The migration test condition as shown in table 4, could be suggested for suitable incorporation in BIS to get meaningful extraction values from plastic packaging materials representing the actual use conditions with the food simulants destilled water, 3% acetic acid and 50% ethanol.
