摘要
The article presents the analysis of practical application of arch induction motors and issues of simulation of their magnetic field. The article describes the phenomenon how in such type of motors after having used the arc stator it is possible to obtain very low velocities of mechanism without the usage of mechanical speed - reducer. As subjected on to the size of the central angle of are of the stator and due to the increased radius of the stator in such type of motors the electromagnetic speed reduction is achieved. For the analysis of the magnetic field of arc motor there has been applied the software package Maxwell SV. There has been investigated distribution of magnetic flux density by changing the size of air gap, material of rotor, frequency of feeding current and other parameters. The obtained characteristics of magnetic fields present the influence of the edge effects on to the operation of motor and on the intensity of the caused low frequency electromagnetic disturbances.
