High Efficient Multiple-input Buck-Boost Converter for Energy Harvesting Systems

摘要
This paper proposes a new high efficient multiple-input buck-boost converter which can be used in the renewable and alternative energy harvesting systems. The higher energy conversion efficiency compared with the previous multiple-input converter in the literature can be obtained with soft switching technology in the proposed topology. This new soft switched multiple-input buck-boost converter was verified with simulation results along with power conversion efficiency comparisons with the previous hard switched multiple-input buck-boost converter topology.
