摘要
The composites of cenospheres coated with CoFe2O4 spinel-type ferrite were prepared via co-precipitation method. The phase structures, morphologies, particle size, chemical compositions of the composites have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and Magnetic characterization. From the results, it was shown that CoFe2O4 coating on hollow necospheres can be achieved. Both of the thicker and thinner field of the cenospheres coated with CoFe2O4 spinel ferrite was coated with cladding. The mean crystallite diameter was estimated to 48 nm. The thickness of the thicker field was higher than the thinner field. Magnetic characterization of the particles was as follows, the saturation magnetization (M-s) 38.20 emu.g(-1), the remnant magnetization (M-r) 13.60 emu.g(-1) and the coercivity (Ha) 807.71Oe.
