To the Problem of Psychology of Consciousness

Methodological issues of consciousness exploration are discussed in the present article. It is stated here that despite the fact that consciousness is a key problem of philosophy and psychology the extent of progress in conceiving the mechanisms of its functioning is close to nothing. However psychology, within the theory of personal constructions and psychosemantics succeeded in a description of a subject's consciousness, of its world view, of the others and of itself. The operational definition of consciousness as a secondary perception of the world in symbolic form is given.
