Improved efficiency by advanced aircraft ground traffic control

摘要
With the sustained development of air transportation, ground traffic at airports has become a critical issue with respect to security and efficiency. It has appeared that new systems including a higher level of automation where necessary to cope safely and efficiently with aircraft ground traffic at airports. In this context, Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems (A-SMGCS) have been considered recently by several ongoing research projects. These projects proved mainly Surveillance aspects of A-SMGCS concept. Their Guidance Routing, and Control functions are still at an early experiment phase. In fact, the core of this kind of system is a reactive scheduler which is in charge of ground traffic guidance and control. In this communication is proposed an integrated framework for an aircraft surface traffic control system performing supervision, diagnostic. scheduling, guidance and control functions. The proposed approach is validated by numerical simulation.
