An Empirical Analysis of China's Service Trade Competitiveness and International Comparative Study

Based on 2000-2011 data of the relevant national trade and service development, the author has conducted the research on comparative advantages on various departments of the Chinese nation and the structure of trade in services comparative advantage. The results show that: there are big differences among different China's service trade sector, where service trade structure showing a low-end, low value -added and other anomaly resulting in a lack of competitive advantage; larger proportion of traditional trade services possessed certain comparative advantages; while the proportion of modern service trade sector is not only low, but also a comparative disadvantage relative prominence.
