Transmission of quantum information in a quantum network: A quantum optical implementation

摘要
We show how to transmit quantum communication reliably between the nodes of a quantum network. The nodes are represented by atoms, stored in a trap. The communication is accomplished via photons, which are coupled to the atoms by a hi,oh-e cavity. We discuss the effects of decoherence and ways to correct for the corresponding errors.
