摘要
Amorphous carbon nanowhiskers (ACNW) which localized on the top of tungsten tip were fabricated and investigated. ACNW were grown in the scanning electron microscope chamber using focused electron beam (FEB) technique. In situ techniques for static and dynamic tests were used to study the mechanical characteristics of FEB deposited nanowhiskers. Both elastic and plastic deformations were investigated. Static and dynamic tests show good quatitative correspondence.
