摘要
A bioassay with Pyricularia oryzae as target fungus was used for screening bioactive agents from traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) on a large-scale. In total, 247 species belonging to 85 families were tested with this preliminary bioassay, and 42 TCM showed bioactivity. The screening results indicated that this bioassay is suitable for screening bioactive natural products from TCM.
