Hybrid SVPWM Technique for Reduced Torque Ripple in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

摘要
A voltage source inverter-fed synchronous magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) produces torque ripple due to application of pulsewidth modulation (PWM) method. Torque ripple is influenced strongly by the PWM strategy. A Hybrid SVPWM (HSVPWM) technique is presented to reduce torque ripple of PMSM. The method employs both conventional sequences and advanced bus-clamping switching sequences, which apply an active vector twice in a subcycle. The proposed Hybrid SVPWM technique compares conventional switching sequence and advances bus-clamping sequences every sampling cycle, then employs the one which could produce the minimum torque ripple. The results of HSVPWM are obtained and advantage is shown in contrast with CSVPWM strategy.
