摘要
High rates of immigrants in state secondary schools in the Madrid Region, Spain, have motivated the need to search for effective means of treating diversity. The objective of this paper is to formulate different proposals for each level (administration, headship, teachers, counselling, parents associations and students) aimed at increasing school inclusion in educational communities. References of this study are perceptions and practices employed in different secondary schools to favour school equity and improve learning in each and every student. A qualitative analysis is carried out on the responses of five discussion groups made up of teachers and counsellors from secondary schools with high rates of immigrant students. The results show that schools that have developed good policies have undertaken a process of reflection and inclusive action that can help other schools in similar circumstance.
