Research on the matching relationship between IS resources and IS capabilities

摘要：
Firstly, this paper identified a number of important information systems resources (IS resources) and information systems capabilities (IS capabilities). IS resources include IS human resources, IS relation resources, IS technology resources and IS enabled processes. IS capabilities include the IS function capabilities and IS support capabilities. Next, the paper proposed the matching relationship between IS resources and IS capabilities by using the criterion of sustained competitive advantage. Namely, the IS human resources and IS relation resources are the sources of IS function capabilities, while IS technology resources and IS enabled processes are the sources of IS support capabilities.
