Solitons and their interactions in a tapered aorta

摘要
In this paper, a modified nonlinear Schrodinger equation governing the solitary wave motion of blood in an aortic vessel is obtained. One- and two-soliton solutions are given by using the Darboux transformation. The analytic results show that the nonlinear coefficient of elasticity and Young's modulus have a strong influence on the amplitude of a soliton. Furthermore, different interactions of two solitons are investigated.
