摘要
This paper examines the relationships between top management team (TMT) characteristics and firm innovation with a sample of 172 Chinese listed companies in the manufacturing sector. Findings indicate that firms with higher levels of innovation intensity are likely to have TMTs characterized by shorter organizational tenures, more output functional background. Age, educational level, and stock ownership of TMTs have no effect on innovation.
