摘要
The paper focuses on comparing ERP system implementation projects of two completely different production enterprises, which have a common project objective: to standardize and optimize business processes by means of a globally provided ERP system. Both companies purchased the same version of the ERP system made by the same producer and implemented it based on the same implementation methodology. The comparison takes into account both the common and different characteristics of both companies and implementation projects. A comparison of value creating processes automation level of both companies as well as the evaluation of benefits gained by both enterprises by using the new ERP system introducing global standards and best practices forms an integral part of the comparing summary.
