摘要
This report provides the guidelines for establishing a virtual reality (VR) Laboratory in the context of medical applications. In order to set up the laboratory, a user and task analysis must first be performed. By using an example, the components of a VR system are best explained. Althroughout, it is emphasised that building virtual environments requires the understanding of both the existing technical components, and the pattern and behavior of human perception.
