摘要
The autocratic regime of Qin Dynasty was overthrown after its brief brilliance. After that, the new ruler drew the lesson of despotism. It began to govern the country in the guise of Confucian thought of kindheartedness, but in fact it still used the Legalism ideology to rule the people, the Confucian virtue and morality became a fictitious cover for the vested interests. This irreconcilable contradiction inevitably led to the social unrest in the ancient China. The same tragedy of despotism and vested interests constantly repeated itself in history. The core of autocracy is the vested interests owning power without people's restriction. The autocracy gives them power and makes other people powerless and makes the corruption of vested interests spread in the society. The culture of autocracy and privilege will inevitably result in the monopoly of cultural thought, politics, economy and people's livelihood. The monopoly of economy and social distribution system will reduce the fluidity of the social stratum and lead to the crisis of stratum solidification. Therefore, our society lacks normal tension and regulation function, and many social mass incidents take place frequently.
