Preparation and properties of aluminum phosphate/organosilicon resin organic-inorganic hybrid materials and fiber reinforced composites

摘要
Homogeneous silicon-containing organic-inorganic hybrid materials and the relevant glass fiber reinforced composites were prepared by hydrolyzing different amounts of methyltriethoxysilane (MTEOS) precursor in aluminum phosphate (AP) solution. Thermal behavior of the hybrid matrix materials and mechanical properties of the composites showed that the matrixes had excellent heat resistance with a weight loss of only 2.65% after being sintered at 1000 degrees C for 30 min in air, and the mechanical property of the composites was so markedly enhanced that the flexural strength raised from the 45MPa when contained 0 wt% MTEOS to the maximum value of 116MPa when contained 5 wt% MTEOS.
