摘要
The major economic instruments used in water management in the countries of the European Union are reviewed. In reference to the systems of charges for effluent discharge, a comparative analysis is made for the charge systems in France, Germany and the Netherlands. The principles of funding water management and water pollution control projects in Poland are described. In conclusion, the consequences of implementing in Poland the system of economic instruments applied in the EU countries are discussed.
