An analysis of the competitiveness of Wuhan Optics Valley based on Porter's national competitive advantage theory

摘要：
Optoelectronics is a strategic industry. A lot of developed nations began to support optoelectronics development from 1980s. China government began this policy from late 1990s. Three China national optics valleys are under development, Wuhan Optics Valley., Guangdong Optics Valley and Changchun Optics Valley. The paper focuses oil Wuhan optics Valley which locates at Center China. First it introduces the history and status quo of Wuhan Optics Valley, then summarized Michael E Porter' Theory of National Competitive Advantage. It analyzes the disadvantages and advantages of Wuhan Optics Valley based oil the model. Finally, it gives Out Policy implication for Wuhan Optics Valley from research and knowledge creation, talents training and attracting, matching firms cultivating, and institutional innovation.
