摘要
In the Knowledge Economy Age, work is not only for survival, but also an important way to find individual values and the meaning of life. In enterprises, leaders hope employees to devote themselves to working, and keep the passion and altruistic heart to achieve high performance. Employees hope to do interesting work happily and get good reward. How to get a balance and achieve coordination between these objectives has been an urgent problem to solve? Interestingly, engagement can give some primary answers. From the human nature, employees do not hate to work, but are not willing to work in supervisory control. When they find the meaning of working, they will devote themselves to realizing high performance happily. Base on deep analyses of employee engagement, this study suggests that leaders should pay more attention on employees' spiritual needs, help them to find the meaning of working. In theory, the spiritual leadership is the best to fit employee engagement. To verify this idea, the authors gather 1684 samples in hospitality industry, and employ the statistical analysis by using multiple regression and equation of structure model.
