摘要
A LTCC (low temperature ceramic material) millimeter wave broadband array antenna based on characteristic mode theory is presented. Through the theoretical analysis of the characteristic mode, the circular patch is analyzed. In order to expand its bandwidth, the radius of the major and minor axis of the patch is changed to make the characteristic mode resonate in the required frequency band, so as to achieve the effect of broadband and high gain. characteristic analysis not only directly analyzes the bandwidth of antenna, but also saves the efficiency of antenna design and shortens the development cycle of antenna system. The simulation results show that the relative bandwidth of the antenna designed based on the characteristic theory is 20.97%, and the 10dB bandwidth is 7.5 GHz (32 GHz-39.5 GHz), which has good radiation performance and stable gain.
