A Fast Method for 3D Localization in SAR RFID System

摘要
Nowadays, RFID has been widely used in warehouse and retail networks. However, existing RFID localization methods cannot meet the requirements of precision and real-time, especially when the localization problem is extended to three dimensions. In this paper, we present a new approach called 3DA for localization in the 3D space. The advantage of the mothed is that it transforms the localization problem into the solution of linear equations, which are formed by two antennas with different heights. By means of the equations, the spatial position of the tag can be efficiently determined without iterations. 3D-A is compared with the classical localization methods Tagoram and LM through simulations. The simulation proves the method we proposed performs more robust than Tagoram and LM methods at high noise levels. More importantly, 3D-A shows much lower computational time but maintains high precision.
