摘要
The territorial occupation of the Region of the Valleys of the Tuy (RVT) has obeyed geo-historically to the agricultural use and to the fluvial benefits of the Tuy. However, as a result of the peripheral relationship with Caracas since the 1950s, a pattern of territorial occupation was created that was neither planned nor organized, originating a diversity of socio-environmental problems that violate its urban development. This descriptive-documentary study exposed at the municipal level and in the period 2001-2011, physical-natural, socio-economic, and infrastructural variables, contrasted and processed in thematic and bibliographically supported maps, with the purpose of fulfilling the objective of exposing said conditions and propose guidelines for a new public management in the Region, circumscribed to public policies oriented in urban agriculture
