摘要
Study on thermocatalytic oxidation of 1,2-dichloropropane (DCP) on the copper-zinc were carried out. Special attention was paid to determination of the lowest temperature required to provide complete combustion. Tests included oxidation of DCP in temperature range from 200 to 700 degrees C. The concentration of DCP in a initial tested solution and in combustion gases was determined by chromatographic method. It was found that DCP was completely oxidized in the presence of an oxide copper-zinc catalyst at temperature of 400 degrees C and contact time of 0.36 s or at temperature of 600 degrees C and contact time of 0.036 s.
