Parameterization of Simple Flow Rate Models for Real Centrifugal Pump Systems

摘要
This paper presents a simplified system-theoretical nonlinear flow rate model for a centrifugal pump system consisting of a centrifugal pump connected to a pipeline pumping water into an upper tank. For this system, a parameter estimation is done based on the combined use of operational calculus and a high gain observer method. Therefore, the algebraic operational calculus is used for a first parameter estimate initializing the observer estimation method. Both methods are compared to each other applying real measured data.
