Effect of Urea on the Extraction of Cobalt, Copper, Zinc, and Cadmium by Tributyl Phosphate from Chloride Solutions

摘要：
The extraction of 0.03-0.05 mol/l Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) by neat tributyl phosphate from HCl, LiCl, and MgCl(2) solutions containing up to 6 mol/l urea was examined at 298 K. Various effects of CO(NH(2))(2) on the extraction of the metals were found and discussed. These effects depended on the nature of both the metals and the chlorides used.
