摘要
The density of the melts of the system KF-KBF4-K2TiF6 has been measured using the Archimedean method. On the basis of the obtained density data the molar volume, the partial molar volume and the excess molar volume of the melts were calculated, and the possible chemical interactions of components have been considered. As significant chemical interaction between KBF4 and K2TiF6 the reaction KBF4(l) + K2TiF6(l) = K3TiF7(l) + BF3(g) has been found. The originated compound K3TiF7 undergoes a substantial thermal dissociation according to the scheme K3TiF7(l) = K2TiF6(l) + KF(l). Both chemical reactions affect the chemical equilibrium of the melt and subsequently their ionic composition.
