Conservator nature protection in Silesia province

Nowadays the Silesia province includes most former voivodships: Katowice, Czestochowa and Biesko-Biala. Especially the area of the former Katowice Voivodship has been transformed anthropogenically in a significant way. However, on this area, there are still some precious elements, from the nature protection point of view, of fauna and flora or a single objects. In the area of the former Katowice Voivodship there are 13 nature reserves, 4 landscapes parks, 9 areas of the protected landscape, 1 area of the special protection of birds called "Nature 2000", 4 special areas of habitats "Nature 2000", 3 documentation sites, 24 ecological arable lands, 9 teams of nature and landscape and a lot of nature monuments. In this in a degree degenerated area there are many species of fauna, flora and fungi protected by means of exact and partly protection.
