摘要
Although many studies related to seismic repair performance of strain-hardening fiber-reinforced cement-based composites (SHCC) based on cyclic loaded small-scale RC column models have been performed in Japan, most of the studies may not be difficult to evaluate the seismic repair performance considering the size-effect. Therefore, the seismic repair performance of SHCC considering the size effect was still unsolved problems and more experimental studies for either a full-scale RC column or the small-scaled RC column which may reproduce the full-scale model are needed. The authors' previous studies developed 0.2-scaled RC columns which can reproduce the maximum moment strength of a full-scale RC column conducted in a previous study. Based on the authors' previous studies, this study repaired damaged two 0.2-scaled RC columns which were tested in the authors' previous studies and carried out cyclic loading tests for their repaired RC columns in order to investigate the seismic repair performance of SHCC. For repairing, this study used a spraying cement mortar with the 2% volume of polyvinyl alcohol fiber having 40.0 lm diameter and 12 mm length on the damaged RC columns after removing cover concrete. As the result of cyclic loading test, the maximum moment strength of the repaired model could recover to 90% degree because the repair by SHCC with strain hardening function restrained the stiffness drop. The repair by SHCC restrained the spalling of cover concrete after the maximum moment strength.
