On the Ideological and Political Education and College Students' Employability Training

"Employment has a vital bearing on people's livelihood." Employment of college students is critical for social harmony and steady development. In recent years, the central committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have paid high attention to the employment of college graduates, made a series of major policy decisions and adopted some policies and measures. However, as the enrollment scale of institutions for higher education has been expanding, the number of college graduates entering the employment market has increased, and the employment of undergraduates has become acute. Colleges and universities should give full play to the role of instructors to make good use of ideological and political course teaching to strengthen career guidance on training college students' overall quality and employment ability. At the same time, instructors should let students clearly know their employability and employment situations, therefore, possible to lay a solid foundation for their successful employment.
