摘要
The electric potential in water formed by atmospheric-pressure plasma was evaluated to understand the biological effects of charges in the plasma. A pulsed voltage was applied to a needle electrode at 1mm from the surface of water in an insulating vessel, and a discharge was generated between the needle electrode and the water surface. The evolution of the potential in the water 100mm from the discharge point was measured. A computational estimation using an equivalent circuit exhibited potential of 602 V at the discharge point when the discharge current was 316mA. This estimation qualitatively agrees with a numerical calculation. (C) 2018 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
