Diffusion of guest molecules (CH4, C2H6, Xe) in zeolites (LTA-zeolites, silicalite) will be discussed under different thermodynamic conditions for different intermolecular potentials. The macroscopic properties will be related to microscopic data using methods of statistical physics and computer simulations (MD, NEMD). Comparisons with PFCI-NMR measurements are given.
