Procedure for obturating the access canal and preventing the loosening of the abutment screw in an implant-retained fixed prosthesis

摘要
Silicone plugs used for obturating the access canal to retaining screws also act as antirotational devices for the screws; however, the procedures to obtain such an effect are complex and blind. The purpose of this article is to describe a method that would simplify the procedure and allow for checking of results. The proposed procedure is simple, efficient, and its results can be verified.
