摘要
In this paper, we propose an energy efficient power allocation scheme for the non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based visible light communication (VLC) downlink systems. With the aim to reduce the energy consumptions of the lighting, we propose to minimize the emitting power (EP) subject to the stability constraints of the quality of service (QoS) in terms of the outage probability of multiple users. In our design, we first construct the NOMA VLC system model, and allocate the subcarrier sequentially according to channel conditions. Then we formulate the emitting power minimization (EPM) problem, which is converted to the problem of the power allocations. After that, we derive the power allocation strategies to meet different demands. Simulation results demonstrate that using the proposed strategy, the EP is lower than that of the benchmark system while meeting the stability demands of each user equipments (UEs).
