摘要
The research goal is the development of an assessment methodology for "Activities Planning" module, which is an essential part of each Computer Aided Maintenance Management (CAMM) software system. The need of such as assessment is starting from the very large diversity of CAMM informatics solutions existing on the market. Apparently, all software solutions provide management functions for the maintenance process/activity, from both technical and budgeting points of view. The truth is that the firms have to evaluate by themselves the real correlations between the provided functions and the needs of their own. The present paper will show a genuine methodology assigned to the assessment of the "Maintenance activities planning" module. Therefore, it was special developed a questionnaire, which allows us the status checking of following essential aspects related to the maintenance activities management: activities scheduling, intervention requests issues, maintenance contracts management, and intervention reports elaboration. The questions 'structure procedure describes in a synthetic manner the pattern of the how maintenance activity has to be organized inside the company. Starting from this analysis, the managers have the possibility to define a coherent maintenance strategy at the operational level, accordingly to the organizational strategies. The recommended approach is a genuine one and is setting up the proper premises framework of a right analyses development process useful for many other CAMM functionalities.
