摘要
The purpose of this study is to predict the properties of materials using micro-indentation and digital image correlation. The behavior of the material surface in the micro-indentation test depends on the material. To measure and analyze this behavior, an experimental device, which could capture the surface of the material before and after the indentation test, and a digital image correlation algorithm were developed. In addition, experimental data were improved using digital image correlation algorithms to measure the micro deformation of materials owing to indentation, and image sub-division algorithms to improve the accuracy of image computation results. The error in the surface displacement between the experiments and the analysis derived was less than 4%. The digital image correlation algorithm presents the comparative criteria between the experiment and the finite element analysis results and describes the verification process using the experiment.
