摘要
This paper presents software design and development of an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for four cylinder petrol engine. The model designed in Simulink allows data from various sensors like speed sensor (rpm), intake air temperature sensor, manifold air pressure sensor, throttle position sensor. By collecting data from various sensors, ECU takes action on it to increase performance of engine. ECU has some main functions i.e. determines duration of injection or injection pulse width, controls ignition time, control valve opening timing (variable valve timing). The simulation has been realized using Simulink.
