摘要
Based on its morphological, physiological, and chemotaxonomic characteristics, strain INMI 367-6, isolated from highly saline (272 g/l) formation water of the Bondyuzhskoe oil field, was identified as Rhodococcus erythropolis. The culture actively metabolizes n-alkanes C-10-C-30. It shows low demand for the phosphorus concentration in the medium. Decreasing the nitrogen concentration in the medium induced changes in the fine structure of the cell nucleoid.
