摘要
There are ten critical cosmological parameters that monitor cosmological models and structure formation. In this review, I summarize the current status of these parameters and discuss the issues that are presently unresolved. The successes and failures of galaxy formation theory are reviewed. The cold dark matter-based models have had remarkable success in accounting for various aspects of large-scale structure. However on galaxy scales, cold dark matter appears to be in crisis. I discuss prospects for improvement in our theoretical modelling.
