摘要
In this letter, a novel low-cost active normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) platform is developed. In the first stage, the system was tested and calibrated outdoor in a passive mode. Then, vegetation illumination was done using two laser sources with a beam combiner. The active mode was benchmarked using a field spectrometer from analytical spectral devices. Successful operation of active NDVI system was shown indoor.
