Novel Optimizing Technique for Linear Optical Mach-Zehnder Modulator and Its Experimental Verification using PAM-8 Signal

摘要
We propose an optimizing technique for linear optical modulator for selecting whether to linearize the optical power or electric field response. Using this technique, a PAM-8 signal was successfully generated with a driving signal having a swing voltage of 0.7V pi.
