摘要
This paper presents an integrative perspective toward considering ethical practices in developing information systems (IS) based on the review of current literature. Harbermas's discourse on practical reasoning was introduced to explicate the match between the understandings of information systems development and the foci of interests in applied ethics. Our aim is to promote an integrated understanding framework embracing different ethical considerations and approaches in IS development, that those approaches shall be employed on integrative ground in terms of their respective workability in particular problem situations.
