摘要
Good eating behaviors can contribute to the health of growing children. However, due to the diversity of diets, children often fail to meet nutritional recommendations. We present a mobile game application connected to an interactive tableware, including a bowl with a weight sensor and a mobile application. Our system detects if children have eaten and helps children to focus on their meals. We also designed a smart device app with gamification elements to interact with children during meals. We tested the system with preschool children aged 5 to 6 years with picky eating behaviors. Through the study, the system had a positive effect on improving children's eating behaviors.
