摘要
Results on electron emission from solids bombarded with swift heavy ions at high energies (from about 1 up to 100 MeV/u) are presented. Three different topics are discussed: (1) The ejection of high energy binary encounter electrons induced by argon ions. (2) Electron yields from thin carbon foil targets. (3) First results on high charge effects in low energy electron spectra from sputter cleaned carbon and the influence of controlled contamination by exposure to nitrogen.
