Um das Konzept der fruhen Entlassung bei Lungenembolie mit geringem Risiko zu validieren, initiierte eine internationale Wissenschaftlergruppe die prospektive Studie HoT-PE. Bereits die Interimsanalyse 2019 bestatigte diese Strategie, und die Studie wurde daraufhin vorzeitig gestoppt. Jetzt liegen die Daten aus der Studie vollstandig vor und umfassen auch Ergebnisse zur Lebensqualitat.
