摘要
A study that was carried out to examine hydrogen and deuterium accumulation in metals under pulsed exposure to high temperature hydrogen and deuterium plasma is presented. The hydrogen and deuterium concentrations near the foil surfaces were measured on both sides of each foil using electrostatic generators EG-5. The hydrogen and deuterium concentrations in Nb foils were measured immediately and a year after exposure to 20 pulses of hydrogen plasma to test for the presence or absence of hydrogen desorption for a long holding time. Measurements showed that hydrogen desorption is absent within the ERD measurement accuracy. It is shown that the colored ring diameter on the surface of some foils in assemblies with high hydrogen and deuterium concentrations corresponds exactly to the entrance diaphragm diameter in the foil assembly.
